Fifty-two trains, including one of Railways' flagship trains Lucknow Mail, were cancelled today as Jat agitation continued to disrupt train movement in several parts of North India.
The prestigious train, a sought after among commuters between Delhi and Lucknow, was cancelled for the first time in decades since yesterday because of the ongoing agitation by Jat Mahasabha at Kafurpur station on Moradabad division, according to Northern Railway.
He said agitations in several other pockets have only worsened the situation for railways.
