Air charter operator Airnetz Aviation on Sunday said it will start helicopter joyrides over the Juhu beach, Worli Sea Link & Essel World areas in the city from September at a massively reduced fare of Rs 3,333 for a 15 minutes trip.
The company said the service called ‘Joyride’ is four tours on board an Augusta 119 chopper - an Italian seven-seater helicopter. One can have this ride on Sundays.
“In the past, many people had booked these rides as they are easy on the pocket. Looking at the response, we have decided to reduce the price up to Rs 3,333,” said a company release. Earlier the service was available for Rs 7,000.
The company also said it has plans to enter Goa, Kerala, Delhi and Bangalore. It now operates only in Mumbai.
Airnetz has a fleet of over 200 choppers in the country and over 1,500 worldwide. The company provides charter services to top corporates and has over 500 corporate clients worldwide.
