To help speedy retrieval of items/belongings lost by passengers while travelling, the Delhi Metro has started displaying the list of lost and found articles on its Web site >www.delhimetrorail.com . The details of such items are updated on a daily basis under the ‘Lost & Found' section, according to an official release.
Bonafide claimant(s) of such items can approach the respective Metro stations, as shown in the list, within 24 hours of its display to claim the item. However, if passengers are not able to reclaim their item within 24 hrs, they may approach the centralised ‘Lost & Found' office at Kashmere Gate Metro station.
As per practice, DMRC send all items found in Metro stations to Kashmere Gate office after every 24 hours. Thereafter, they are kept in this office till they are reclaimed.
