Mangalore-based Srinivas Institute of Technology has got permission to start BE in marine engineering. A press release by the institute said here on Tuesday that AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has given the permission to start BE in marine engineering from the academic year 2012-13. The institute said that the intake of students for marine engineering course is 60.
