The France's Minister of State for Transport, Mr Thierry Mariani, called on Mr C.P. Joshi, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, to take advantage of French Government's public-private-partnership (PPP) in roads and highways construction.
Mr Mariani emphasised on good quality roads and hoped that the PPP road construction projects will help in creation of more jobs to Indians. He added that foreign direct investment in the country would increase due to such projects.
Also present on the occasion were the Minister of State for Road Transport, Mr Jitin Prasada, and Mr A. Tusharbhai Chaudhary, Secretary, Road Transport Ministry, and other senior officials from the ministry.
