Six Air India flights from here to various destinations were cancelled today as the strike by the national carrier’s pilots entered the fourth day.
According to airport sources, flights to New Delhi and Madurai were among those cancelled. The airlines is managing the situation by combining flights to different sectors.
Around 850 pilots have been on strike since Tuesday midnight, demanding fixed salary, removal of Air India Chairman-cum-Managing Director and a CBI probe into alleged mismanagement.
