A four-digit security helpline has been activated by the Salem Division of Southern Railways to provide speedy assistance to train passengers, be it at the station or railway coaches.
Passengers can call 1322 from any landline or mobile number in the event of theft, harassment, pickpocket or criminal incident either at the station or in the train, states a release from Southern Railways, Salem Division.
The service is available 24 x 7.
The complaint would be registered by RPF Control and action taken will be informed to the complainant from RPF.
