A Kingfisher flight from Hyderabad experienced difficulty in landing at the Madhurapudi airport here on Thursday morning because of unfavourable weather, according to sources.
The State Information Technology Minister, Mr P. Lakshmaiah, another Minister, Mr P. Satyanarayana, and the Member Of Parliament from Rajahmundry, Mr V. Arun Kumar, were on the flight along with 57 other passengers.
The aircraft, scheduled to land at 10.30 a.m., could not do so for about 15 minutes, and there was some uncertainty whether it would finally land or return to Hyderabad. But the air traffic control finally gave the go-ahead.
