The Railway Ministry has decided to extend 66532 Bangalore-Bangarpet multiple electrified unit (MEMU) and 66533 Bangarpet-Krishnarajapuram (Bangalore) MEMU to Marikuppam from May 12.
Electrification of Bangarpet – Marikuppam section has facilitated extension of the trains to Marikuppam. The Minister of State for Railways, Mr K.H. Muniyappa, flagged off the train at Oorgaum station.
The Bangalore-Marikuppam train will leave Bangalore at 2.55 pm except on Sundays and arrive at Marikuppam at 5.05 pm.
