Air India's short-term ‘promotional fares' offer has hit the right chord. The company has achieved up to 85 per cent seat factor in the Economy Class on its domestic network, in addition to contributing to stabilisation of fares in the domestic market — much to the cheer of the passengers during the ongoing peak holiday season.

In a release, the spokesperson said, “This only shows the immense faith our passengers have in Air India's service,” while pointing out to the success of the ‘promotional fares' offer - which was available till May 19.

Saying that the company's revenue was also looking up, the spokesperson said: “Following the ten-day disruption, these competitive special fares were made available on 107 sectors across the network. All this is expected to lead to a substantial increase in the company's market share.”
