Regional airline Air Pegasus began operations to and from Mangalore International Airport on Friday.
A press release by JT Radhakrishna, Director, Mangalore International Airport, said here that the first flight of Air Pegasus reached Mangalore International Airport from Bengaluru at 12:33 pm with 59 passengers on board. The flight with 42 passengers on board took off from Mangalore International Airport at 1 pm.
The flight operates on all days except on Tuesdays.
Syson Thomas, Managing Director of Air Pegasus, was present on the occasion.
Air Pegasus, which is a Bengaluru-based regional airline, operates ATR 72-500 type aircraft. It operates to southern cities such as Bengaluru, Hubballi, Madurai, Cuddapah, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai, the release added.
