AirAsia India will soon start recruiting flight attendants for its Indian operations. The Malaysian low cost airline, which will have its Indian headquarters in Chennai, has called aspiring flight attendants for a walk-in interview on April 13.
The interview will be held at Chinmaya Heritage Centre in Chetpet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Successful candidates will attend a final interview the next day.
Male and female flight attendant candidates must be between 20 and 35 years old. They must possess Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate and be fluent in English. They should also be fluent in the local language. Both experienced flight attendants and fresh graduates of any discipline can attend the interview.
Height requirements are 160 cm (minimum) and 170 cm (maximum) barefooted for female candidates, while for male candidates it is 170 cm and 180 cm respectively, says a company press statement.
