Low-cost carrier AirAsia India has expanded its flight operations’ team inducting several senior airline officials.
Captain Manish Uppal has been elevated as Director, Flight Operations (DFO) of the airline. He was earlier Head of Training and Standards. Capt. Uppal has been with the airline for over two-and-half years and was instrumental in getting the airline its AOP to start operations in India.
In his new role, Capt. Uppal will lead flight operations with improved communication, implement processes to streamline flight operations and ensure crew welfare.
The other officials who have joined the team include, Capt. Vikram Raymund as the Technical Pilot; Capt. Nagesh Muniswamy as the Recruitment Pilot; Capt. Praveen Sharma as the Chief Pilot Operations and Capt. Sambasivam Srinivasan as the Chief Pilot Training& Standards.
