AirAsia will start the Kuala Lumpur-Madurai sector this year, the airline promoter, Tony Fernandes, has tweeted.
The new low cost start-up airline is a three way joint venture between AirAsia, Tata Group and Telestra.
Tony is currently visiting India and after spending time in Chennai on Saturday is on his way to Cochin. During the current visit, Tony will also visit Mumbai and Delhi.
