To provide better services to pilgrims visiting the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on Friday launched an online reservation system for yatris availing the heli service on the Katra-Sanjichhat-Katra sector.
The Shrine Board CEO, Mr R.K. Goyal, said “It is part of our continuing endeavour to provide improved services to pilgrims.”
He said that after pursuing an entirely transparent bidding process, the one-way passenger fare for heli travel between Katra and Sanjichhat has come down from Rs 1,225 per passenger to Rs 699 from April 1, 2011.
