SpiceJet will flag off daily direct flight on the Durgapur-Mumbai route, under the regional connectivity scheme of UDAN. The under-served market of Durgapur is the airlines 13th destination under UDAN, it said in a release on Tuesday.

With this launch, SpiceJet now operate 45 flights that connect 25 cities (under UDAN scheme). SpiceJet is deploying a Boeing 737 on the Mumbai-Durgapur-Mumbai route.

Flights will take-off from Mumbai at 7.50 AM for Durgapur (daily). The return flight to Mumbai will be at 10.45 AM, the same day. Our Bureau
