Elecon Engineering Company Ltd on Monday said, its MHE Division has procured an order worth Rs 29.82 crore from the Adani Group-promoted Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd for design and engineering and supply of material handling equipment.
The equipment includes conveyor system, idlers, pulleys and drive, Mr Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering, said in a statement here.
Established in 1951, the Vallabh Vidyanagar-based Elecon Engineering Co Ltd, a pioneer in the manufacture of material handling equipment (MHEs), is a leading player in mechanised way of bulk material handling equipment in India, supplying equipment to such core sectors as fertiliser, cement, coal, power generation, chemical, steel plants and port mechanisation.
