Kerala has conveyed to the Centre its concern over the in-principle approval to a proposed port project at Enayam in Tamil Nadu. The project site is only 30 km from Vizhinjam in Kerala, where work on an international deepwater multipurpose seaport is apace. Replying to a submission, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the Assembly that he would again share the State’s apprehensions with the Prime Minister when he meets him in Delhi later this month.
