GATI-KWE has been chosen as the logistic partner for IKEA’s first India store in Hyderabad. The partnership will enable the furniture retailer to efficiently manage home deliveries of its products (Do-It-Yourself) sold from its India store to homes across Telangana.
The overall scope of partnership is a combination of contract logistics, last-mile distribution and reverse logistics. A vital facet of the solution is the use of electric vehicles for deliveries. This partnership opens new frontiers in the B2C segment for GATI-KWE.
Shares of Gati is trading down 2.8 per cent on the National Stock Exchange.
