India will need 2,300 aircraft valued at a $320 billion in the next 20 years , Boeing said on Wednesday.
Addressing a press conference, Dinesh Keskar, Senior Vice-President, Asia-Pacific and India Sales, said India continues to grow at a pace faster than the world. He added that the number of aircraft India will require is the higher than ever before.
84 per cent of the 2300 aircraft that India will need will be single aisle like Boeing 737 9r Airbus A 320. The widebody market is expected to account for 15 per cent or about 350 aircraft in the next 20 years
