Sanjay Kumar, Chief Commercial Officer of IndiGo, has resigned from the airline, with effect from July 15 to pursue other career interests, the airline said in a statement.
William Boulter, currently Chief Strategy Officer, will take over from Sanjay as Chief Commercial Officer, the statement added .
Sanjay is the second person after Aditya Ghosh, the airline President to leave the company in the recent past. Sanjay has been with IndiGo airlines for the past 12 years
Aditya quit the company in April.
