Employees and workman of Jet Airways have been directed to file their claims and salary dues to the interim resolution professional (IRP) before July 4, a day prior to the next insolvency hearing at the NCLT’s Mumbai Bench.
The employees and workmen were allowed to file for claims up until June 20.
“While submitting the claim form (whether as an authorised representative or individually as an employee/workman), you are requested to study the instructions on the form carefully and attach all the relevant supporting documents. It is very important that your claim should only include amounts due to you up to and as on the insolvency commencement date, ie, 20th June, 2019,” said a notice.
“Where there are dues to numerous workmen or employees, an authorised representative may submit one claim (with proof),” the notice added.
The Mumbai Bench of the NCLT had admitted State Bank of India’s plea against the debt-strapped airline on June 20.
Along with this, the NCLT had admitted petitions from the pilots’ body for salary dues of about ₹550 crore, and a plea by engineers and managers for dues up to ₹100 crore.
