Mr K. K. Srivastava has taken over as new Member Traffic, Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India, here on Friday.
There were no full time appointments for the Member (Traffic) post since July 2010, with the Railway Board Chairman holding additional charge during the period.
Prior to this new posting, Mr Srivasatava, a 1975 batch Indian Railway Traffic Service officer, has served as General Manager, East Central Railway, Hajipur.
He will continue to hold the post of General Manager, East Central Railway, in addition to his present post until further orders, said an official release.
