SAS Applied Research & Lab Materials Pvt Ltd, a leading supplier of rare and high-end research chemicals along with equipment & consumables to several Indian and multinational companies, will set up operations at the Free Trade Zone (FTZ), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.
GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has signed the new client for the airport-based FTZ.
SAS has a client base spread across India and overseas such as Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Biological E Ltd, E.I DuPont, United States Pharmacopeia, ITW Performers & Polymers, Syngenta Bio Sciences, Lupin Pharmaceuticals, among others.
The Free Trade Zone, which had earlier signed its maiden client, Turbo Jet Engines, offers advantages by way of reducing the turnaround time and transportation costs.
It has facilities ranging from servicing, distribution, trading & warehousing, and several other value-additions, a press release said.
SAS operations involve value-added services, packaging and distribution of rare chemicals, equipment and consumables globally.
Speaking on the occasion, SGK Kishore, CEO–GHIAL, “GHIAL strives to evolve new strategies and establish top class facilities to provide seamless facilitation of goods and services, in line with its stated vision of creating RGIA as the ‘Logistics Hub of India & South Asia’.’’
