Train services on the Howrah-Mumbai trunk route have been affected due to breaches on the track between Raigarh and Kotaria stations under the Bilaspur Division of the South East Central Railway, according to a press release issued by South Eastern Railway.
The breaches have been caused by floods with water flowing over the railway track. As a result, the Howrah-Pune Duronto Express and Howrah-Puri Sri Jagannath Express have been cancelled.
Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express, Howrah-Sai Nagar Shirdi Express, Howrah-LTT Janeswari Express, Howrah-Ahmedabad Express, Howra-Pune Azad Hind Express and Howrah-Mumbai Mail via Nagpur have been diverted via Jharsuguda-Titlagarh route, the release adds.
