Regional carrier Trujet has announced plans to offer special flights for the Dussehra festival between Hyderabad and Vijayawda on October 21 and 22.
In addition to the regular once daily flight between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, Trujet is offering one additional flight on the sector on October 21 and three additional flights on October 22.
The Andhra Pradesh Government has declared Dussehra as State festival, and new State foundation stone laying ceremony is to be held on October 22,
Vankayalapati Umesh, Managing Director, Turbo Megha Airways, in a statement said “Being the only airline based out of Hyderabad, we already connect the two state capitals and we are offering additional flights during Dussehra. This is our way of celebrating the festival with our valued customers.”
Umesh said, “Recently, we had a few cancellations due to reasons beyond our control and we apologize to our affected passengers. In order to avoid such cancellations in the future, we are adding more aircraft to our fleet which will be kept on stand-by to cater for such exigencies. By March 2016, Trujet will have 5 aircraft in operation.”
“We are proud to have Ram Charan as our brand ambassador, and despite the fact he is not involved in day-to-day operations of the airline, he has been a huge support,” he said.
