Regional airline Trujet has inducted its fifth ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet, which will enable it to expand its network.
The new Trujet aircraft is configured with 70 seats and comes equipped with the new Armonia cabin that features modern standards for passenger comfort.
The aircraft features a glass cockpit that incorporates the latest innovations in avionics technology. This reduces flight crew workload and enhances situational awareness while providing better reliability, maintenance cost savings and weight reduction.
The cabin features new lightweight and slim seats to offer passengers greater comfort and space. This ATR joins the current airline fleet of four ATR 72s, thus supporting Trujet’s aim of further regional expansion in India. The airline started its operations with an ATR aircraft in July 2015, and has been promoting connectivity to underserved/unserved cities under the ‘Sky for All’ concept of UDAN.
Trujet, promoted by Megha Engineering & Infrastructure,, currently operates to 12 stations.
