Before proceeding to college everyday, students should look at themselves in the mirror and ask if they are ready physically, mentally and psychologically to meet the demands of the day, said Mr M. Chidambaram, CEO, Kaveri Training Academy.

If they are not, they should develop the right attitude and the required skills and knowledge, he said. The right attitude and positive thinking will lead people to great heights, said Mr Chidambaram.

He was delivering a lecture titled Mirror to Mirror at a BL Club lecture series organised at Venkateswara College in Thiruvallur near here. The lecture was presented by Tata Photon+.

Mr Chidambaram advised the students to make their parents and teachers proud of them.

“Expect the unexpected,” he said, cautioning the students against taking anything for granted. Further, he urged them to inspire others and be inspired by others as well.

He shared with them tips for better listening, observation, memory and concentration powers.
