Auto fuel prices continued the downward movement on Thursday. IndianOil cut the price of petrol by 7 paisa a litre and diesel by 5 paisa a litre in the national capital.

After the revision, the petrol was sold at ₹ 78.35 a litre while diesel retailed at ₹ 69.25 a litre in Delhi. Consumers were left fuming on Wednesday after IndianOil had cut petrol and diesel prices by a measly one paisa each.

Petrol prices have increased by Rs. 3.8 a litre and diesel by Rs. 3.38 over the past fortnight. These reductions come after 16 consecutive price increases since May 14.
