The Maharashtra Budget for the 2011-12 financial year will be presented in the State Legislature on March 23. This was decided at a meeting of the business advisory committee of the Legislature here on Tuesday.
The Budget session begins on March 14. A legislation on the regulation of school fee hike is expected to be tabled during the session.
Other bills likely to be introduced include proposed amendments to the Maharashtra Universities Act and modifications in the Act governing entertainment tax in municipalities.
