The Union Public Service Commission has included Puducherry as a centre for the June 12 all India civil service (Preliminary) examination.
An official release said today 1,326 candidates would write the test in four centres, including government's women polytechnic college.
The release said the Special Secretary to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, G Theva Needhi Dhas, would be the Coordinating Supervisor and the Joint Managing Director of Puducherry Textiles Corporation, Mr S.D. Sundaresan, the Assistant Coordinating Supervisor for the exam.
