The Delhi High Court today asked the MCD to file a fresh report on its actions taken against illegal structures, built on encroached land, in posh South Extension area here. “The MCD is directed to file a fresh status report in the matter,” a division Bench of Mr Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Mr Justice Ajit Bharihoke said.
Senior advocate H.S. Phoolka, appearing for the civic agency, said that so far as sealing and demolition of illegal structures in South Extension were concerned, actions have been taken.
The bench was hearing a petition, which was filed in 2001.
