The eBiz platform, which seeks to provide a one-stop-shop of convenient and efficient online government-to-business services to investors, will fully integrate the services of all Central ministries and departments by May 31, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Amitabh Kant has said.

There are currently about ten services that are part of eBiz. “The full integration will happen by May 31,” Kant said at a Indo-French seminar on `Make in India’ on Monday.

The eBiz project aims to create an investor-friendly business environment in India by making all regulatory information – starting from the establishment of a business, through its ongoing operations, and even its possible closure - easily available to the various stakeholders concerned.

Wooing French companies across sectors, Kant said that the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) will make all efforts to address existing grievances of investors and make doing business easier in India.

“You tell us that as French companies what you need for smoother functioning, and we will take it up for you,” Kant said.

French companies across sectors such as Renault, Danone, Safran, Sanofi, Airbus and Schneider Electric participated in the seminar.
