All permanent residents must mandatorily attend the camps being conducted on behalf of the national population register (NPR).
Special software being used at these camps is designed to exclude biometric details of those who have already given them as part of enrolling for Aadhaar unique identity number, an official spokesman said here.
Those who are enrolled in this manner have been advised to submit themselves with the respective Aadhaar number/enrolment slip at the national population register camps as well.
