Still expecting the Centre on its request to include an additional 14.76 lakh BPL families in the Centrally-approved list, Jharkhand on Tuesday approved Rs 360.66 crore to enable the left-out families continue to procure grains at one rupee every month this fiscal.
The approval came at the cabinet meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister, Mr Arjun Munda, to enable the families to avail 35 kg grains at one rupee per kg every month under the Mukhya Mantri Sahayata Yozana, the Cabinet Secretary, Mr N N Pandey told reporters here.
