The Kerala Cabinet has approved birth, marriage and death certificates downloaded from the Web site of the local self-government department as authentic records for purposes of all government business.
Accordingly, secured certificates validated with bar code and unique identification number (aadhaar) may be downloaded from www.cr.lsgkerala.gov.in, an official spokesman said here.
Authorities may refer back to the Web site and verify the certificate coordinates. Currently, registration and allied services pertaining to these certificates are carried out using the ‘Sevana’ civil registration application software developed by Information Kerala Mission.
