Rajasthan Government today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Centre for implementing the India statistical strengthening project.
The MoU was signed here in the presence of the State Chief Secretary, Mr S. Ahemad. The proposed budget for implementing the plan is Rs 95.94 crore, of which Rs 60.97 crore has been proposed under ISSP and Rs 33 crore under the 13th Finance Commission.
The State government has to bear the balance amount of Rs 1.97 crore, an official said. Under the plan, every block statistical office will be computerised and there will be provision for online networking with the State Directorate of Economics and Statistics.
