The National Association of Realtors will hold its two-day national convention at Hyderabad from July 23. The organisers said that about 900 brokers from all major cities and 50-odd international brokers had confirmed their participation.

As part of the convention there will be a property expo, in which projects from across the country will be showcased.

Mr Shailender Singh, chairman, NAR-India Convention and Expo 2011, said, “This body was formed to professionalise the broker business and change the perception of how brokers and realtors are looked upon. NAR-India will first bring professional realtors together and then assist them to form associations in different cities from where they can grow and also compete nationally and internationally.”

The organisers said the convention this year has the Indian School of Business (ISB) as its knowledge partner.
