R.P. Singh is new NHAI chief

The Government on Monday said that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Rajinder Pal Singh as Chairman of National Highways Authority of India. “Mr Singh, an IAS officer of 1976 batch of Andhra Pradesh Cadre (retired), will hold the office for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge or till the age of 65 years,” a Government statement said.
