Renewable Energy India (REI) is planning to host Solar Energy Investment and Technology Forum on April 9 at The Residency in Coimbatore.
The forum would explore the use of solar energy to bridge the energy supply gap. It would also focus on clarification of policy norms, a REI release said.
The forum would help large-scale units in and around this region understand solar power obligation under Tamil Nadu Solar Energy Policy 2012, and discuss cost-effective techniques for implementing solar energy systems to tackle basic power requirements.
