Expressing happiness over the Delhi court order in 2G case, the Janata Party chief, Dr Subramanian Swamy, has supported BJP’s demand for resignation of the Home Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, in the scam.
“In my opinion, Chidambaram should resign right away and not stand on technicalities. The apprehension about him is sufficient and the BJP is doing the right thing by saying he must resign,” Mr Swamy told reporters outside Parliament today.
A Delhi court has allowed Dr Swamy to depose as a witness and lead further evidence in support of his complaint against Mr Chidambaram in the 2G case.
The court has fixed December 17 as the date for Dr Swamy’s deposition.
