Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has inked a memorandum of understanding with Borougue (India) Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, for establishing a ‘greenhouse unit’ at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dharmapuri. D Sudhagar, Registrar, TNAU, and Anil Krishna, Vice-President, Borougue, signed the agreement.
TNAU sources said a greenhouse model for protected cultivation would be demonstrated at KVK, Dharmapuri, for the benefit of farmers with high value flowers and vegetables such as gerbera, chrysanthemum, capsicum and cucumber.
