1.My fitness routine consists of three activities, swimming while listening to podcasts, jogging while listening to podcasts and yoga using a yoga app.

2.My day usually begins with a lot of physical activity. It starts with an hour of games and activities with my daughter. After that I like to go for a run, swim or do yoga. My day usually ends with a good  bedtime read.

3. I live by the mantra that you should consume only as many calories as you can burn through the day. These calories should come from well balanced meals that cover all food groups. I stay away from preservatives and processed sugars for all practical purposes.

4. Whether I’m at home, at the office or even at the airport, I make it a point to take the stairs instead of elevators. I think we should grab any opportunity to burn calories. I also make it a point to eat as healthy as possible and even when I’m travelling I try to order fresh salads or other light and  wholesome meals.

5. Not games per se, but I use some fun and interactive apps to stay fit. These are Headspace for meditation, Down Dog for Yoga and Prana Breath for Pranayama. These help me time and track my  work outs and also keep me motivated.
