Bharti Airtel Ltd has launched 4G services in Ludhiana. This will allow users to access the Internet simultaneously via dongles, Wi-Fi Customer Premise Equipment and mobile phones. While the dongles and the Wi-Fi CPEs will give customers fast broadband experience at home, with mobile phones customers can experience the same on the move.
Customers can now leverage advanced 4G technology capabilities such as high definition video streaming with zero buffering, downloading 10 movies in less than 30 minutesand also connecting multiple devices.
Customers can start their mobile 4G experience right away by upgrading to a USIM (Universal SIM) and selecting a plan/pack of their choice. While the USIM shall come free with the purchase of dongle or CPE, it will cost shall come at a nominal cost of Rs ₹49 for mobile users; the dongles are priced at ₹1,500 and the CPE is priced at ₹2,500.
