Former Chairman of MindTree Ltd, Mr Ashok Soota, has sold 8,22,676 shares, amounting to a 2.05 per cent stake in the firm, the company said in a listing on the BSE today.
Mr Soota mopped up about Rs 36.2 crore from his latest transaction at a valuation of Rs 440 a share.
Mr Soota, who resigned from the company earlier this year, now holds 3.54 per cent stake in MindTree.
Last month, Mr. Soota sold a stake of 5.49 per cent of MindTree in a deal valued at Rs. 94.2 crore.
While the former chairman has reduced his stake in the company, other stock exchange listings show that Coffee Day Resorts Pvt Ltd and Global Ventures Pvt Lts have increased their holding in MindTree to 14.58 per cent from 12.34 per cent. The company's shares went up 3.39 per cent to Rs 411.30 on the BSE today.
