Flytxt, a market leader in providing analytics-driven platforms for telecom companies, has gone live at three ‘MTN markets’ in Africa.
MTN Group is a leading emerging market operator connecting subscribers in 22 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Flytxt has signed a group-level partnership with MTN to deploy its real-time decision-making and customer engagement solution across its group operations in the above geography.
With this roll out, its platform has gone live in Ghana, Rwanda, Guinea-Conakry, Uganda and Zambia, said Pieter Verkade, Group Commercial Officer, MTN.
The Flytxt solution enables to have more informed interaction with customers and at the right time too, enhancing the network experience, he said.
Complex environment
Prateek Kapadia, Chief Technology Officer, Flytxt, said that telcos are some of the largest and most complex IT environments for deploying analytics platforms.
This is because they have varied data sources, and volumes, running into many terabytes with millions of real-time events every day.
“Our deployments usually span four to eight weeks, depending on the scale and scope of implementation. We could deliver faster in MTN markets thanks to clarity on objectives and proactive support,” he said.
Flytxt is a preferred analytics partner for more than 50 telecom companies spread over 32 countries now, Kapadia added.
