HCL Infosystems announced on Monday it has bagged Rs 250-crore project from state-run telecom firm Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).
The IT hardware and solutions company will be responsible for deploying facility for printing and managing of BSNL customer bills. HCL Infosystems will manage BSNL's billing system process for North and West Zones over a period of seven years.
“The company will set up facility equipped with printing solutions for transactional output with hardware and software solutions,” an HCL release said.
The project will entail a complete transformation and automation of BSNL's bill printing mechanism for higher efficiency, it added.
