The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday rejected bail petitions filed by founder and ex-Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ltd, Mr B Ramalinga Raju, and seven others accused in the Rs 7,136- crore financial fraud case.

The court had directed Mr Raju and others to approach the sessions court for the bail as per the procedural norms.

The bail petitions were filed in the High Court after a local court had denied bail to the accused agreeing with the Central Bureau of Investigation's argument that bail could hamper the investigation which was at a ‘crucial' stage.
