Software provider Patni Computer Systems on Wednesday said Mr Gajendra Kumar Patni and Mr William O Grabe have resigned as directors of the company with immediate effect.
Pursuant to the share purchase agreement and securities purchase agreement entered into between Patni Computer and US-based iGate, dated January 10, 2011, Mr Gajendra Kumar Patni (non-Executive Director) and Mr William O Grabe (non-Executive Director) have resigned as directors of the company with immediate effect, Patni Computer said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Further, Mr Phaneesh Murthy, the President and CEO of iGATE Corporation and Mr Shashank Singh, Co-Head of the India office of Apax Partners, have been inducted as additional Directors of the company with immediate effect, it added.
