Bangalore-based OnMobile, a value-added mobile service company, saw a decrease of 31 per cent in its net profit to Rs 12.8 crore (Rs 18.6 crore) in Q1 of FY12 on the back of a 10 per cent increase in revenue to Rs 136.4 crore (Rs 123.8 crore).
The company declared a dividend of Rs 1.30, a 16 per cent decrease from last year. As part of the global deal between OnMobile and Telefonica in Latin America, its services have been deployed across seven countries, covering 85 per cent of the subscriber base, a press statement said. The active user base has grown over 50 per cent from last quarter to 4.6 million users.
